I have no experience with the above. However, for the sake of more info, I am using the following direct-fit, three-inch system with my 350 HO Deluxe: Hooker 2055's (Jeg's 520-2055). Catco high-flow converter (Summit CTO-9118). Hooker catback (Summit HOK-16823HKR).

The Hookers are a board favorite, along with Dyno Don's version, for good reason, I think.

Re: Hooker header and y pipe

I just put the 2055's on my car and they are great. I got mine cheaper off ebay. You may check the classified boards for a used set.

Re: Hooker header and y pipe

from my research the 2460's dont work all that great for most people. the 2055's are better and come with a y pipe. i have smog deleted though out the car but kept tubes on headers just put caps on them.

The y-pipe they make for the 2460HKR's is only 2-1/2" at the outlet. The 2055HKR y-pipe is 3" at the outlet, and, as stated, comes with the 2055HKR's (no extra cost).

In my opinion, the 2055HKR's are the superior value.

If you can swing for Dyno Don's, go for it.
