ceramic header ?

Just built my 383 stroker w/gmpp fast burn aluminum heads and intake. im looking to buy ceramic LONG TUBE header's what is your opinion on running long tubes on a 3rd gen or what header would you recommend going with? keep in mind i dont want to spend a crap load on headers. just looking for the best bang for the buck. and also what would keep the heat down the best header wrap or ceramic ?

Moved from Tech/General Engine to the Exhaust forum.

Ceramic coated Hooker 2210HKR, if you really want long tubes and cost is no object.

Wait, you said you don't want to spend a crap load on headers.

Probably the same answer, for a 383.

What's involved in installing them and the compromises you'll make are well documented in the Exhaust forum.

The other choice is the Hedman long tubes. 1-5/8" primaries, somewhat better fitment, lower performance (bang-for-buck isn't all that quantitative).
