Just built my 383 stroker w/gmpp fast burn aluminum heads and intake. im looking to buy ceramic LONG TUBE header's what is your opinion on running long tubes on a 3rd gen or what header would you recommend going with? keep in mind i dont want to spend a crap load on headers. just looking for the best bang for the buck. and also what would keep the heat down the best header wrap or ceramic ?

Ceramic coated Hooker 2210HKR, if you really want long tubes and cost is no object.

What's involved in installing them and the compromises you'll make are well documented in the Exhaust forum.
The other choice is the Hedman long tubes. 1-5/8" primaries, somewhat better fitment, lower performance (bang-for-buck isn't all that quantitative).
