Stainless Works longtube headers
As anyone ran into any problem using the Stainless works longtube headers on 5.3lsx swap or any lsx swap for that matter. I am having clearance issues and I am wondering if maybe i bought the wrong ones even though they said this will work with my car.

Those don't look like the ones that I got, they look painted. I used the stainless works ls swap long tubes and they fit very well. I did have to bash in the transmission tunnel for O2 sensor clearance, but that was minor.

I got them ceramic coated. Did you do any other modifications to make them fit like new k member, or something. And thank you for responding back my friend.

I did use a tubular K member and I have a manual transmission. The driver side was tight, I had an inch between the header and frame rail so I relocated the fuel, brake and evap lines. I definitely have more room on the passenger side. It looks like it is up against the frame rail in your pics. Your pics look like you have clearance issues with the A arm knuckles on the K member, I did not have problems like that.

Re: Stainless Works longtube headers
I also installed Hawks Stainless Headers on my 5.3l upgrade into a 3rd gen. Very tight on passenger side, but all fits and works well. My problem is, when I rev engine, Y pipe slams into driver frame rail. Hawks Ypipe, not sure what they were thinking with this....
