That's bad, check the fuel psi regulator vac line for raw fuel in it. If there is fuel in it, replace the regulator diaphram.

I checked it and no fuel in there.also when I turn on the key (no cranking) i get a whiff of gas and I had a friend turn the key and I went to go check and it sounds like an injector is turning on

Re: Gas out of exhaust

The fuel pump will prime when the key is turned on, usually for a few seconds. After that initial prime, the injectors fire and the fuel pump runs when the computer get's a signal from the distributor that the engine is turning.

What TTOP350 is getting at is the fuel pressure regulator can get a hole in the rubber diaphragm, and the fuel pressure from the fuel pump will pump raw fuel into the vacuum system. If you pull the vacuum line off the regulator, you may see gas run out, or turning the key on with the line removed may result in fuel squirting out if there's a hole.

Injectors, especially the variety that are 30 years old, can stick open, or closed, and dump gas in the engine. Assuming the regulator test doesn't show gas in the vacuum system, you might pull the plugs and see if any are dripping wet with gas, or smell like raw gas.

so I took out the #6 piston spark plug And sure enough gas came out. So what do you suggest I do ? Or based off what we've been discussing ,do you have an idea on how to help me?

And don't forget to change your oil before you run the engine again.
