True dual or not true dual is the ?

I want to run true 3 inch dual exhaust but i also want my car to have that nice low stance not low rider low . Im running a 142 supercharger so i need very good exhaust flow are there any exhaust that will perform close to a true dual exhaust?

Whats your engines specs besides the S/C, and about how much HP is it making??

350
142 wiend supercharger
trick flow 23 degree heads
850 spead demon carb
cam LIFT int:488 exh:510 DUR int 234 exh 244 LOBE SEP 114
holley black body fuel pump

Tas.. on your exhaust chart.. is there a reason U do the figure for a 4in length of pipe... is that a standard???
Just doing the calculations on a flat area...
1-3in pipe 7.07Sqin
1-4in pipe 12.57sqin
2-3in pipes 14.14sqin

I would have to agree with Tas... if U want a better flowing system.. without the lost of ground clearance.. I go with the 3.. but a 4in system would be more ideal.. and would probably flow better because it would have smoother bends.. and less restriction.. even with the smaller diameter..
Shouldn't your chart be volume, not area? Jus' wonderin'.

the chart if off. I need to recalculate for the pipe thickness. Its just OD area.

so a 4 inch mufflex will not restrict my 550hp engine too much? Can i run long tube headers with the 4inch mufflex?

You could use Car Chemistry Inserts to do the task. You insert them inside the pipe so they don't inhibit ground clearance. I have a friend running them on a low 12 second 383. they are nice.
