Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
Ok, I drove past, no Firebird to be found. House looks different than the one posted in the background of his CL ad. The house resides in the city of St. John. I went to the St. John police station and for all that sent moneys with no response need to contact Detective Gary Bridges during the hours of 8-4 CST. The number is 314-427-8700.
This is all I can do right now but I wish you luck. Use all the information you have including the face picture off his CL ad where he is looking for a roommate and figure out this scam. It is mail fraud right now.

I would seriously jsut see what having a detective arrive at his door does. Make sure you have all your ducks in a row with as much information so they can build a case. St. Louis is not that hard to find people like this. Someone at that house knows him but I have a feeling that could be a roommates house or a relative.... The cops will find him!

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
update: To the people who have lost money, I do have a "good" address from a new source. He has parts at 6306 wyoming st. 63139. Since the mailing address was St. John, this is where the crime was committed however this should help more. Group effort going on now.

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
same thing happened to me guys, bought a dash pad pad and center console, sent my check and after a week he said he got nothing. I went to the bank to track the check and money order and it had been cashed 3 days before he said he still had not received anything. and another fishy thing was that it was cashed without a signature in the back AND was cashed in a bank in Chicago. So it looks like he is having it sent somewhere else and cashing the money people send him. tried contacting the guy and dont get any replies from him.

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
I just called over there not 5 minutes ago and left a message for him; he wasn't in.
You just need to connect to the Police Department and then a receptionist can transfer you to him (or his voice mail).

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
Another PM I just got from someone who might want to remain anonymous. I will be watching local CL for new post on Firebird parts too. This guy I talked to was white (for sure), the new voicemail is 100% sure a black guy. Whole thing is strange.
I recently Googled the phone number 314-276-1882 to see if anyone else has been scammed by this guy. I then found his post on here where he had been scamming you good folks as well. Here is some information I found out on him... His name isn't really what he says it is and he doesn't live at any of the 3 addresses that he's had people send money to. I've talked to people that have sent him money to an apartment complex in St. Ann called Cabanna Club apartments, to a place off St. Charles Rock Road and 170 by the airport, and to a place in South St. Louis City not to far away from the zoo. A guy on naztyz28.com even hired a detective like I seen you're planning to do and the detective came to a conclustion that this is not a real name he's using, he's an identity thief! The last I heard from Jeremy (The guy that hired the detective), the case has been closed. *I joined this website solely to share with you guys what I've learned from losing $650 from this guy on a make believe intake. Hopefully it helps.

looks like tracking his cell number would be the best bet on catching this scumbag. Too bad that takes resources that law enforcement isnt willing to spend over a couple hundred dollar scams

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
guys, I was just thinking about something. I wonder if anyone who is a Mod of this site can do some research and do some IP traces and see if this guy is using different computers and maybe track down a little more info.
The last bit of info that I was PM'd doesn't add up 100% (not calling it anything) but the address in South St. Louis is where someone locally met him at a garage at this house recently. IF it is some "old man" who knows nothing, that sure doesn't add up unless he is renting out his garage at the house. I think pressure needs applied and if it is found these people are lying they would be an accessory.
Call the Detective again, if need be, I will go in there with any info and meet with him in person. It sounds like close to $1000 stolen minimum and identity theft seems tough with multiple addresses. Possibly a postmaster general needs to be involed if this guy is having mail sent to addresses and taking checks out, this seems too far fetched because how would he know the day these checks arrive????
I'm just passing on ifno as others are giving it to me but something still doesn't add up here. Persistence!!!!!

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
I agree with persistence. However, I've called the detective more than a fair share of times and left several messages; no response as of yet. Has anyone actually got in touch with him?
I'm going to keep trying until I get him.

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
You need to ask whomever answers the phone if he is in, BEFORE SHE/HE SENDS you to VM. Tell the situation to whomever answrrs the phone and make 100% sure he is not on vacation or you NEED to some some ACTION!!! I could call and get some movement but I was not stolen from - be persistant that this guy stole money from you!!! Talk to ANY officer, have one guy from this site that has all the data to save on this officers time. Most cops can be somwehat lazy.....

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
Hey guys, i figured I would give you the little info I know. I met him on Sept. 22 at around 1pm to buy a Ram Air hood from him. When texting about it he sent me the picture of a black car with a white RA hood. The hood I got was white as well. I traded him my TA hood along with $. My old hood was silver but was repainted underneath in preparation for the car repaint when I painted the engine comp. The underside was red. He told me that he lived near the zoo, I think he said like 15mins south of it. We didn't meet at his house since I didn't want to drive thru the city(St. Louis) so we met in Belleville, IL area along interstate 64. He drove a white? newer van/minivan that was converted behind the front seats to have a wheel chair and a lift for a wheel chair. Had a girl with him who I didnt see much of. She looked short(possibly handicapped?) but didnt get outve the van. The number I used to contact him was 314-276-1882. I hope some of this helps to get this figured out and I hope you guys get your money back, I hate people that do these kindve things.

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
I was able to look up him info on here finally. It does say he is banned but it also list that he is or was a Union Carpenter. You shouldhave his first and last name. Call the Union Hall. See if they have a good number for him and if he is still a member of the hall. Carpenter Union Local 185, 1401 Hampton Ave, Saint Louis, MO 63139,
(314) 781-8980
Someone has to be making some sort of progress. Do you need me to contact the St. Louis City Police? People sent money to that address too.

I am in PA and have no luck in getting the MO police department to call me back, I guess they are not that concerned with us out of towners.

Re: TRANS AM PARTS AFTERMARKET AND STOCK.
As I said in the pm I sent, I am thinking that is the guy I met to buy the ram air hood. But if I had a better picture I could tell for sure. I am not sure how I missed the reply with the picture in this thread. I must not have gotten the email.
