Louvers. $125. Reconditioned with stainless steel studs
I have 3 sets of louvers. As you know the plastic pins are always broken off. These have been rebuilt with stainless steel studs and they won't break as long as you keep a heat shield/blanket under your hood. Details in the video.

Nice work Neil. I’ve got some busted studs at the top of both, one in particular that I always see fluttering slightly at high speed. Not a big deal but I always see it. I suppose I could periodically add gorilla glue but a nice proper OE metal repainted black *fully secured* would be cool. In the meantime I’d probably make a project of refreshing my faded greys.
The thing is you think yours would last a good while before the engine heat melts the epoxy? My car runs so damn hot I never really wanted to put in the insulation under there.
