Re: WTB --- grey/silver z28 rocker emblem
I've got a couple pairs......
The Red circled emblem is NOS and part of a full set ( NOT available, I pulled it out for comparison.) The pair of emblems circled in green is a used pair I pulled from various FX over time. I'd call them a "C" grade,... easy to see & read from a distance and will mount properly, but they are worn and only good for a DD. The pair of emblems circled in blue is supposed to be a set of NOS emblems, I'd grade them an "A".
I pulled out the full set and compared the emblems to each other. They all appear to be identical in their production and I can not see any markings that indicate the pair circled in blue is a knock-off. I know the red circled emblem is an NOS emblem because I had the original box at one time....... I got the blue circled emblems from someone else at another time without any packaging. I believe them to be NOS emblems and have no intention to miss-represent them - if you are aware of a way to distinguish a GM emblem from a knock-off - please let me know.
The used set will clean up a bit - but there is some separation in the lettering that will be visible forever. the NOS pair has some VERY minor scuffs here and there due to no packaging, but a little rubbing compound should make them look day 1 again.
Think it over and get back to me with an offer if your interested.
