Caster Camber adjustment on the Cheap
When I first posted the pictures of these little babys didn't get many responses. Not sure if the picture showed you enough about the idea. So here is the original picture.
And here are a couple of the installation.
Not too expensive to make just took a little time. Oh yeah these are dual purpose along with allowing for quick accurate adjustment of Caster and Camber they also raise the mounting point for the Strut by 1" thereby allowing for proper travel of the struts when you lower your car.

did you have to elongate the mounting holes on the top, stock plate to allow more adjustment?
i think im missing why the side bolts are needed to adjust...
couldnt you just use that as a "spacer plate" and elongate the stock mounting holes?
im not trying to be picky, just thinking out loud. i recently got a alignment, and was disappointed when i found that it wasnt possible to get the settings i wanted.

yes you have to elongate the stock slots to get added adjustment.
The purpose of the side bolts is not to hold it in place, rather they are used to quickly adjust the settings. The first step however is to get an alignment done at three different settings. 1st setting is for regular driving. Second for autocross and third for circle track. When alignment is complete for each of these settings I simply measure with a dial caliper from aluminum plate to both adjuster bolt housings and record the dimensions. With these recorded it is very easy to go from one setting to the other with an accuracy of about +-.010".

when i lower my car, i make take your plate spacer idea...
how did you lengthen the bolts undernieth though? i though they were pressed into that lil V plate?

I pressed them out and installed 1" longer bolts. They Pressed (hammered) in pretty easy so I tack welded them in two spots to stop them from turning.

Lemme see if I get the adjustment procedure correct.
You can adjust camber/caster with those adjusters that appear to be fixed to the strut tower. Then just loosen the nuts on the strut mounting plate and adjust away. Is that correct?
