fourth gen coolant tank swap
ok I know this has been done before but I wanted to add mine, its an easy setup and looks great I think! got the template which is a perfect fit! then just aligned it till I got it where it need to be then cut my hole, I had to dril and tap a hole for the bolt that secures the tank.

Look about right! Nice job.
I had trouble with my one bolt stripping out of the sheet metal. If I were to do it on my current car, I would probably be tack welding a nut on the underside, or using threaded body clips at the least. You might get yours positioned better though...I was flying blind when I did mine the first time haha.
I still like the idea of the dual tanks. Coolant/washer fluid in place of the battery, and sticking the battery somewhere else... but that 4th gen set up is nice and clean!!!

I definitely plan on doing this soon to my car. Very clean, and my car never sees rain so I will be ditching the washer bottle all together.

My 4th gen coolant tank is tucked in the passenger fender, I'll get a picture tomorrow.

Re: fourth gen coolant tank swap
Does anyone have pics of the 4th gen washer fluid bottle relocated? If so could you send me some or post pics? I'm concerned of the plastics that are in the nose. If removing will cause over heating issues! Thanks guys!

Re: fourth gen coolant tank swap
For anyone interested, I made a pretty good video on installing a 4th gen Coolant overflow.
