Aftermarket 3-pedal assembly?

Hey all,

Not sure if this is the right section of the forum or not? Curious if anyone here has installed an aftermarket pedal assembly on their cars for a manual car? The current pedal assembly in mine works, but the clutch pedal is basically jerry-rigged so that the pedal will stay up when it's not pressed. I figure that it's probably not the best long-term solution for a car I'm fixing and plan to keep for a while, and am curious if there are better replacement options than OEM out there? (Which I believe Hawks sells reproductions of?)

Thanks in advance!

Re: Aftermarket 3-pedal assembly?

There is nothing in the pedal assy. itself to hold the pedal up in a stock third gen.

There's a light spring in a stock master cylinder.
And the fluid pressure when the pedal is not pressed, holds the pedal up.
I am suggesting you look into the clutch hydraulics.
