1987 Firebird Formula 350 FS $3k obo- Syracuse, NY
ok, i am selling my 87 Formula project car. I have made up my mind that I just don't have time to give her all the love that she needs and I'm going to jump in to an LS1 car. I am the 3rd and 5th owner
she has around 110k on the clock, 5.7 Auto, american thunder catback, pioneer cd/mp3 deck and 16" american racing wheels (i still have stock wheels)
i have replaced the center console with a 4th gen, new carpet and put in DAD racing seats ( i am not very happy with the seats and planned to put in 4th gen seats)
it has no headliner at the momoent because it was falling down and i never replaced it. this is due to the fact that one of the owners put in a sunroof that now leaks and i planned to have it removed/filled in then i was going to buy the new headliner.
she has some other probs such as oil leaking down the back of the block and a bad tranny gasket.
she starts up and runs great every time and has always been a great car.
no rust, body is SOLID!! paint in good shape but she does have a few dings and chips from the previous owner that i have not fixed.
i bought her in 1994, sold in 1998 and bought back october of 2006 with plans but as stated i just don't have the time to do the work.
I'd like $3000 for her but will take offers.
pm with interest and i will get back to you with my cell # if you wish.

here is a pic of the seats (no carpet in at the time)
wing has the normal rot issue
she has old 5 star american racing wheels on her but i do have the stock wheels and will sell with both

I might be interested. I'd like to come take a look. What rear-end? Hows the suspension, really loose, or pretty good. Whats the mileage like?
Where in Syracuse - I see no plates, but is there a place it can be driven some?

i will post this here in case other people have the same questions...
it has the stock rear 3.27s
i'd say the suspension is still good and would be fine for another season (or 2 depending on how much it will be driven ) before things NEED to be replaced. she does need an alignment as she does pull to one side a bit.
the car is on the road now with plates and insurance so it CAN be driven.
i live in the village of east syracuse.
