1987 Pontiac GTA - SWEET!!! Time to hit the road in this sweet ride!
Hey Guys AND Gals!!
You might want to take a look at this before I start driving it again in a few months, because I just might decide to keep it. LOL. This is one exciting car. Make it your own and it will be SWEET!!!! We simply cannot keep this car, no room. Totally rebuilt, what more could you ask for?
We have a 1987 GTA for sale with 95,011 miles. It has no rust!! This car was originally a charcoal grey that was painted black (needs painted again). The car was parked in a garage for 15 years, so the engine was using oil. We built a new 357 (.040) engine, new transmission with 2200 stall converter, it has aluminum driveshaft with driveshaft loop, previous owner put a reman assie diff in it with hotchkis suspension, it has dynomax headers and crossover pipe
going into a 3" muffler, it comes with the dynomax high flow cat and the muffler for the rear. It also has a frame mounted high flow fuel pump, new ford blue top injectors, it's converted to speed density 127730 ecm.
It also has new brakes and tires, the interior is in good shape needs radio. Asking $3,400.00 obo
If you are looking for a fun ride with seductive tailpipe audio, than this is the car for you. Hope to hear from you soon.
P.S. Gals if you want attention this is the car for you. I have drove this into town and guys just stop and stare with their mouths open. Great conversation starter.

Re: 1987 Pontiac GTA
Hey Out There,
You know you want this beautiful car. Where are you going to find a car with a pristine interior in a car of this age? Put in some tunes, get it repainted and you have a beauty. Seriously, where are you going to get one for this price with all the new items already installed for you?
Seriously, if I had a place to store this car, I would not be selling it, but I would rather someone else have it. This car is fun and definitely gets attention.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best,
Z28 Anna

Hey Guys and Gals,
I am getting really motivated. Someone out there needs this rust free project. So, I have lowered the price. Grab it while you can.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Re: 1987 Pontiac GTA - Price Lowered
Would love this car if it were available closer to Texas. I have an '87 Trans Am that was a little more work than I bargained for, and if I can get it sold, I plan to buy one in about the shape yours is in. Will definitely point any friends that like my car straight to this post. Good luck with the sale! It's a very great car!

can you post more pics please?
engine bay, pics of everything in the interior, more exterior pics

Re: 1987 Pontiac GTA - SWEET!!! Wicked, Exciting!!
The engine compartment is red, because the original owner was going to repaint the whole car red, but he did not get that down before selling it. This car is in excellent condition. Ready for new paint, windshield and a radio and its good to go.

Yes it is quick. This car can be driven in nice weather. Does not need to be labeled a toy, however it would be a extra car. It purrs down the road. More pictures wll be coming.

Re: 1987 Pontiac GTA - SWEET!!! You Have To See This Sweet Car!!
Judging by the engine pic, I'm guessing it was originally red & repainted black? And seeing the air cleaner on the throttle body....Has it been converted to a Speed Density system? I ask because in 87 it was a MAF system & obviously there is no MAF. So either it is missing therefore could not run quite right or it has been converted.

Re: 1987 Pontiac GTA - SWEET!!! You Have To See This Sweet Car!!
Actually this car was charcoal grey, the previous owner had it painted black, then he had
engine problems so he had a .040 over 350 built, my husband changed it to
speed density for him. When he was doing the engine swap he had decided to paint
the car red, delete the ac, install dynomax exhaust system etc.

This car has sat in his garage for 16 years with very little drive time on it, when We

I have just bought it and am happy with it. Great fast car. I have a loud muffler to fix, but the deal was very well.
I will be posting pics of my 89 for sale.
Thanks
