I am unfortunately selling my '89 GTA. Not for a lack of interest but a need for funds. I am currently asking $2000.00 for it however I am willing to negotiate or even trade. For the most part she is in decent condition. She does have some issues. For example the transmission may need to be replaced as it only has first and reverse. (she will rip loose the tires with just first ... I will provide evidence if needed.) the rear hatch latch was disassembled for some reason by the previous owner and latched it. I cannot fit back there to get it open as i am far to large to fit. The center console is cracked and brittle from the extreme Florida heat. Surprisingly the dash is not cracked and the rest of the interior is in excellent condition. The motor is very strong it is the L98 TPI 350. It has all new injectors, distributor, MAF, starter, flexplate, as well as a couple other smaller items. The PCM has been replaced with a used unit from an 89 IROC-Z. It also has extremely good tread on the 4 245/50R16 Firehawks. The body has some issues. The left fender has been hit and should be replaced. The hood is good with the exception of some chips in the paint from it being a daily driver. Over all it's an excellent vehicle and if not for the need for the money I would not be getting rid of it.
