1992 Trans Am WS6 Convertible - $11,500
Up for sale is my 1-of-663 T/A WS6 convertible. After Baby #2, I don't have time for her anymore.
The car has the original paint and top. Replace both of those, and you have a show-stopper. 120k on the odometer, but the engine bay houses a freshly-built L98 355 w/ port-matched heads and a mild cam with only 1,500 miles on it. The original LB9 305 block & heads on a stand goes to the buyer.
Full Hooker exhaust from shorty headers to the tips. The 700r4 had a full rebuild at the time of the engine swap including a TransGo shift kit with Corvette servo custom built by Dana at ProBuilt Transmissions. Rear end has been swapped to 3.42. This car won't win you any trophies at the track, but it will pin you to your seat. This old girl can MOVE.
The seats have been re-covered and the headrests feature a custom-embroidered Firebird logo color-matched to the seats.
The real beauty of this car lies underneath the hood. The plenum, runners, belt tensioner & water neck and anything else aluminum were all hand-polished by me. There is also polished aluminum valve covers and a chrome alternator & oil fill cap to really set things off.
The bad: The top need replacing, the power window motor on the passenger door is about to go (but good news...I already have a new power window motor new in box that goes to the new owner), the paint is pretty good for 21-year-old paint, but there is some fading and such plus a few little rock chips that will keep it from being a show car...even though I have gotten great response at the show's where I've entered. There is a very slight oil leak, most likely from the oil sending unit. The carpet is OK, but could really use a good cleaning.
The dash pad on the car is perfect, but it comes with an extra that I picked up a long time ago. Lots of little extras with the car, including a VERY hard-to-find plastic piece that goes above the sun visors on the vert. It also comes with brand new clear vinyl protective pieces to go on top of the deck lid to protect it from the top once a new paint job goes on. Headlight motors have been rebuilt and work perfectly. The body is completely straight and appears to have never even had the slightest bit of body work.
This car was appraised and is insured for $14,000.
If there's anything else I can think of, I'll update this post.
Thanks for looking!

Man, if I wasn't in the middle of buying a house I would be all over this.
