Car: 88 GTA Notchback
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: don't know
1988 GTA Notchback
Due to financial burden I have to sell my baby.
Would love to see it go to a member here who will treat it right. So, lets begin.
The good:
Genuine real life factory Notchback GTA
NEVER been in an accident
NEVER failed emissions (at least since 1996, cant look further back than that)
Spent entire life in California before coming to Arizona
Flowmaster exhaust
New injectors
New intake manifold gaskets
New cap, rotor, wires, and plugs
Founder's Performance Tubular Rear end kit
TA Performance Differential Girdle
Transmission replaced a year ago, never been driven hard
Rear End rebuilt by PO (confirmed when the diff cover was put on, dont know ratio)
Engine rebuilt by PO
Steering wheel controls work with aftermarket radio (bluetooth, pandora, etc)
4th gen Seatbelts and Buckles, with '82 sill plates
4th gen center console, with Ford Taurus window switches (will include original style center console and switches, easily reversible)
4th gen steel drive shaft
Over head console with Caddilac Homelink
Headliner redone in December 2014 (unfortunatley, it was done in Doeskin and not Beechwood, gives a little contrast)
New Sail panel covers
New Sunvisors
Suspension rebuilt 3/2014
Drilled/slotted front brakes
Driver door hinge rebuilt (have kit for passenger door)
Passenger side headlight motor upgraded to metal gear (found a rebuild kit lying around that will be included)
Radiator/hoses replaced 8/2013
Interior is good for 27 yrs old, only rip is in drivers seat where your butt rubs against the bolster
The bad:
There is 228xxx on the clock
Needs paint
Horn does not work (pin is broken off on turn signal switch)
AC intermittent (low pressure switch), very cold when it works
rip in driver seat
Only one spot of cancer centered above windshield (very small)
fuel pump trap door
I am looking to get $5000 for it, but I will entertain other offers.
I will also throw in both the service and parts manuals on a jump drive, along with an ALDL cable (that I will not sell separately)
