1989 Formula 350
This is a great car! It has been practically rebuilt since the previous owner started the restoration in 2010. The paint is in good condition with a few light scratches here and there. The engine was professionally rebuilt in June of 2013 and has maybe 1000 miles on it. There is no rust that I am aware of. The t-tops don’t leak as long as they are put in correctly.
All of the following has been done since 2010 with little or no miles put on the car. I have approx. 90% of the receipts for everything that was done. I’m sure there are a few more things that I am forgetting.
Engine professionally rebuilt/bored 40 over with Comp Cam kit CL08-300-8
Headers
Flowmaster exhaust
Transmission rebuilt
Drilled and slotted rotors
Ceramic brake pads
KYB struts and shocks
BMR subframe connectors
3.70 rear-end with all new bearings
Rear hatch motor rebuilt
New carpet
Headlight motors rebuilt
New door hinges
Factory radio refurbished
Factory wheels refurbished
New headliner
Dashpad covered – looks better than the original
Sunvisors covered
New parking lights
Painted original factory red – good paint job, but not a show car paint job
New weather stripping
MSD ignition
New alternator and starter
New water pump
Eibach pro-kit springs
New tie rods, centerlink, idler arm, ball joints, front lower control arm bearings
Founders rear lower control arms
New rear spoiler
Most if not all bushings have been replaced with polyurethane bushings
BFG G-Force Sport tires are like new - Front 245/50ZR16, Rear 255/50ZR16
Everything works on the car with the exception of the following:
Air condition compressor has a leak so it doesn’t hold a charge
Odometer shows 129k, but quit working shortly after I got it. I suspect the plastics gears are toast.
Tripometer doesn’t work either
Speedometer works, but is off due to rear-end gear change
I’m asking $8,800 OBO. May consider trade/partial trade for a 1st or 2nd gen S10 or Sonoma for a v8 swap. If you have any questions or want to check it out, send me a PM or a post and I will get back to you asap.
