1991 trans am GTA-1 owner, 67k mile, 5.7L, laser straight!$7900!!!!

As stated above. 1 owner, 67k mile, 5.7L GTA.
Flame red with gray cloth interior.
Car has been sitting since since 2010 and still has the stickers on the window from then. Car was driven around the neighborhood to keep the bugs out.
Had brand new injectors put in approx 200 miles ago.
Body is laser straight and cannot find one ding anywhere. There is a little bump/split on back bumper about 3/4 of in high. Has about a 3-4" light scratch in front of front pass wheel near ground effect.
Other then that just the occasional chip here and there but nothing out of the ordinary.
*Edit- I have the missing fender badges as well. The car has never been repainted. The driver side emblem fell off and he checked the passenger side and it was a little loose sp he took it off so he didnt lose it.
Interior is pretty much perfect. Dash pad is soft with no cracks, door sill/armrests dont have any cracks which are so common, and seats are still light and fluffy lol as you might say.
Engine is quiet and runs very strong and true. Tranny tight as well.
Only bad things i could say is that around 40 mph it has a vibration which i think are from the tires for sitting so long and not getting properly driven.
Possible flat spots that may or may not even out but would probably replace to be honest. I believe they are from 07. Wheels are beautiful!!!!!
Driver side headlight is weak and wont go up with out help. I think that is the little plastic gear piece in there.
Just made a deal with a guy last night to buy a couple of acres of land behind my house so this is approx half of the money for that!
For that reason I cant really do a trade other then possibly a VERY clean Yukon/Tahoe for the wifey as we would sell her old one.
Will post a few pictures and if you need anymore let me know. I picture has a dealer plate on it. Im not a dealer, just borrowed the plate to get it home.
Asking 9500 which seems to be an incredible price considering other ones sold.

Awesome looking car! Nice and Clean, low miles. Sadly the price of $9500 isn't realistic, and I am sorry to toss that under the bus. While most people want one, your car is a $4k-$5k car all day.

I've delt in these cars for years, so knowing the value of them is a good start. Also remember its old, not many people want them, and the ones who do, are the most likely to do KITT from knight rider.

Other than that, good luck with the sale!

Doesn't 4-5 seem VERY low?
I waa just pricing by what I saw for sale and sold on here then went below.
There was a same year and mileage 305 trans am that was asking 9500 or no and it sold I see. And that wasn't a 5.7 GTA.
I was going to lower the car considerably but nowhere near that. I have already turned down a solid 5k offer.

IMO $9,500 is too high, BUT $5,000 is definitely too low.
If I had the money right now I would probably offer in the $7,000-8,000 range for sure

I could see $9500 if a seller waits awhile. Not nearly as dreamer'ish as some. It'll get there soon enough.

Hey Derek, wasn't trying to low ball ya, was just giving you a current market value price for the car. $5,000 isn't low at all, fact is friend of mine sold his Hardtop RS Camaro with the 305 for $4,000 a few years ago. it had over 250xxx miles on that bad boy, and wasn't in the best of shape like your car.

I agree with the value around 5k........It seems these third gen cars people that OWN them think they are worth more...........ASKING PRICE is one thing...... Sold price is another....I just saw two beautiful 10,000 mile Camaros acution off for 7500.00 dollars and they were unrestored perfect new cars almost...I have been watching EBAY for about 6 months........most of these high asking prices the car never sells. You would have to have a very low mileage almost perfect car to get that kind of money unless you find a sucker...which that are some out there. The dealers are asking some times as much as 15k to 30k.means nothing.

I personally saw a stock 85 iroc sell for 15 on eBay earlier this year. I believe mileage was high teens iirc.

I think you are comparing Apples to oranges a little bit.
would be like comparing a regal to a GN.
even a ttype to a gn is a big difference.
84z is a big difference from an iroc much less a 5.7 iroc or gta

Beautiful Gem. I have the Camaro Equivalent. '92 Z28 5.7 TPI 25th Anniversary. Wish I could trade it but that car is my Rock. Even with almost 200k on the Clock. When I bought it, I paid $3,500. You won't find another '91-'92 factory 5.7 for less than 5k unless it has a salvaged title. One with low miles & as ckean as that will easily demand 15 grand. $7,900 is a Steal imo. I certainly wouldn't sell it for that if it was my car.

John, since you are going out of your way to prove my car not worth my asking price, why don't you look at the 2 gtas on EBay with low miles and what they are bidding up to.
when the one with 30k miles goes over 10k will you promise to leave the cars fore sale threads forever since you proved your knowledge to be lacking as you said 3rd gens are pretty much worthless???

Re: 1991 trans am GTA-1 owner, 67k mile, 5.7L, laser straight!$7900!!!!

Op if you were closer I'd highly consider this car. Price is in the ball park for someone who is truly looking for one of these which in itself is sort of the problem. You need to find a thirdgenner that isn't a kid and to do that you need to do the following.

To help you out

1. the color is not flame red, it's code 81U Bright red and about 200ish 91 GTAs were in this color if I remember right. Flame red is the maroon on the 87-90. Flame red is an unpopular color so don't use that term.

2. You pictures suck big time and are not helping you. They make the car look terrible and do not represent it as you say they should.

3. Fix all of that stupid stuff like get the badges back on it, fix the headlight motor and any other small pidly stuff as that will cost you a lot of money if you don't do it.

Re: 1991 trans am GTA-1 owner, 67k mile, 5.7L, laser straight!$7900!!!!

Free bump for the OP, don't pay attention to all the noise.

Anyone who is saying an all original 91 GTA, with 69k on the clock (providing its rust free, and truly original) is only a 4-5k car is just mistaken.

I will put my money where my mouth is......if anyone can find me ANY 91-92GTAs, all original, rust free, no accident/title problems.....5.7L, with less than 65k on the clock....I will buy every one you can find for 4500 or less, and I am not even in the market for one.

RS camaros, 84 Z28s etc outnumber these cars production wise by 10-100x or more.

GL OP. May be tricky to sell before the holidays, but come spring time, you should have no problem getting your asking price. Beautiful car!!
