91 firebird 495hp 510tq
Hi I’m selling a 91 firebird formula that I have had for 12 years. It was appraised at 18000 last year I have the appraisal still.
engine- it’s a 383 stroker 493ho 510tq at the crank have the dyno sheet for the engine. It was built at Ajax racing engines. I paid 7300 for the engine. Has a slayer 750 carb air gap intake crane roller rockers xr 282hr cam dart shp aluminum heads. Arp bolts throughout. Holley mechanical fuel pump hooker shorty headers powerder coated valve covers aluminum pulleys dual fuel pressure regulator with braided fuel lines to the tank. Aluminum 3 core rad with aluminum cover and a mini air pump for the power breaks cause the cam doesn’t make enough vacuum. Has a really lope idle with the 110 separation angle.
transmission- 700r4 built to handle 600 hp from monster transmission paid 3000us for it then I had a reverse manual valve body installed with a tq converter lock up switch mounted on the console. 2800 stall converter with aluminum pan.
suspension- frame connectors aftermarket tq arm aftermarket crossmember, aftermarket lower control arms aluminum driveshaft Lakewood rear drag shocks new rear springs aftermarket panhard bar trick flow diff cover with supports new rear bushings.
diff- 10 bolt diff with 323 poi’s rear end new seals in diff new rear brakes and rotors
tires - ros 17” rims on a 275 tire
exhaust is magnaflow 3” cat back with a 3” cut out half way up sounds really mean at idle or on the gas people hear you coming.
interior- stock interior other then the pillar gauge with oil and air fuel gauge. Oil temp not hooked up. Interior is a 9-10 only thing wrong is the headliner fabric is starting to let go
Body. Original pain no rust few scratches but shines good also have good pins otherwise stock I’d give it a 8-10 for body
im asking 10000 cad for the car have well over 20000 into it price is firm firm firm. Only selling cause I’m getting married not in a hurry to sell I love the car. My email is hanrahan_81@hotmail.com cell is 613 401 5125 ask for Cory or text no test drives unless you have cash

Re: 91 firebird 495hp 510tq
Food for thought for what it's worth for someone who has been there. If you're not hurting for the cash and don't have to sell the car before/when you get married - I would keep the car, especially when you look at your mods and investment in them. Getting another one down the road may be a bit of a wait. My next one down the road was a ten year wait - including looking for the right car for an entire year (purchased sight unseen and shipped 2,800 miles to its new home). These cars only get harder to find the older they get, on top of that the 91-92 years were even lower production years. Looks like a fun Formula, GLWS and congrats on your upcoming marriage.
