Just like you said, the car is way to nice to part out. Be patient the car is all day long worth the money your asking. Knowing the difference in rust and major rust is 2 very different things. I was a salvage yard parts manager for the last 15 yrs and I've parted and crushed more of these cars than most and with that being said if I came across your red 85 I would never let that one get spared for parts. Most people don't know what they are doing when it comes to minor or moderate rust repairs from what I've seen, on that note I've saved many f-bodies from the crusher, the way I see it every time someone parts one out and crushes it the ones that are still around go up in value just a little bit and to me that sucks because we all still wanna be able to buy reasonably priced third gens. IMO I believe that Iroc588 that's looking for his white 85 T/A should buy this car paint it white and get some luvers for it and put a black spoiler on it and boom a small fortune later with paint and supply's and whole bunch of labor of love he's got the car back he regretting he let go of 30 plus years ago!!!!!!!!

Yes it was an 18 or so year old kid and his dad. Dad is a gear head and son was interested in a project and learning and cutting his teeth. They were more than happy with the appearance and condition of the car, and I was happy to get what I had it posted for. Also happy to see it live on!
