Greetings,
I have looked on the inet and browsed this forum for the following question. I'm sure it's out here somewhere but no luck at almost 2 hours looking.
Is there a way to determine what the original color of a 1991 or 1992 TransAm? I don't have original paperwork or nor inventory sheet.
A second question is to inquire on 1991 & 1992 TransAm (Same Model / Year) to determine how many were produced in a certain color?

Go to the following website and enter your VIN:
www.compnine.com
It will give you a list of RPO codes on the SPID sticker - including the paint color the car original came equipped with. In addition, the website, due to it's database collection, will attempt to tell how many came equipped with certain options. The production figures have a considerable amount of margin of error, but it's all that's available.
