I see tan all the time in either GTA's or all TTA's but I have had black GTA seats with the power lumbar in my car for years and years ever since I got them out of the junkyard. I have never seen another set that color even online.

Now I am getting some free leather 4thgen TA seats so i'm going to take them out, but I guess I should probably keep them since they are not common.
mine are black too, not that just a tiny bit darker then gray I've seen on here.

Let me know if you decide to sell the GTA's. The ones in my car are whooped.

I had a friend in high school who had a 1987 gta with black cloth power seats that were like new. From what I understand in 1987 you could get the gta pretty well stripped (of options) and after that they were pretty loaded up. So my guess would be that you could only get these seats in 87, also they could have been recovered as the leather doesn't seem to hold up very good and you can buy cloth replacement covers.

The seats were standard on the GTA and optional on the Trans AM (but I don't believe it was common),

It appears the least common was the light beige seats in 1992 (cloth/leather) and the most common was the beechwood. The black leather/cloth appear to be the 2nd less common.

However, this does not factor in the figures from 1987 (which contain both Trans AM and GTA). Frankie's website lists Black, Beechwood and Carmine 3 seperate times. Not sure why, and what the difference is. In addition, this does not factor in the amount that were installed on Trans AMs (as it was optional).
