Re: replacement parts/new parts

Ebay has raised their rates to the point where most people can't make a profit selling there. Local yards are your best bet. You might also want to check Craigslist for local people parting cars. By far the easiest solution is to watch the classifieds here. You can even post a want ad with what you want and wait for it to come to you. I have a huge stock pile of parts I sell from time to time, but honestly it's usually a waste of my time because people don't follow through or they want something for nothing.

Keep in mind that cloth parts (headliners, seats, doorpanels, etc) you're usually better off to find a decent core and refurbish it yourself, or have a shop do the work for you. Just about all the used stuff out there is going to be in the same condition as what you have now.

Restoration parts right now are non-existent for these cars. All I can tell you is good luck in your searchs!! Your going to need it.

Re: replacement parts/new parts

I've been pleased with places like www.thirdgenranch.com and http://www.top-downsolutions.com.

They seem to have a good amount of new/used parts available.

Hawks also has a good assortment of stuff, although they seem to want a ton for anything (ie, $500 for a rear end), but smaller interior parts are probably more reasonable.

You can also try Thomas at www.houseofcamaro.com

Re: replacement parts/new parts

If you're looking for NEW parts, always try the dealerships first. If the aftermarket companys have them, there's a good chance they came from a dealer, and you won't save any money buying from a third party.
