I have never seen one of these before. It just came up for sale here in KC. Owner says it needs to be put back together. Needs fuel pump (Comes with car) and includes lots of parts to complete project. Price $4250
Problem will be, it only takes ONE little part to render the whole thing useless; and ALOT of those little bits that were unique in that aftermarket package are REAL tough to come up with 30-odd years after the fact.
In fact, wouldn't surprise me at all, if that's why it's (a) currently disassembled, (b) for sale, and (c) cheeeep.
A highly risky purchase IMO. Do your research carefully without stars in your eyes over how "cool" you think it might be to have it.
I am actually the owner of this car and it has been redone fully and looks great now. Just saw this thread going through pictures of autoforms online. It is finally ready for some car shows so hopefully I will see you at one sometime.
Glad to see the car got put back together. You never know with project cars. So many of them just get parted out and or junked.
Are you in the KC area? I would love to see one up close. Can't make car shows unless I know a month or two in advance. Photos would be great!
Yeah Im in the Lees Summit area, but i do have some pictures of it. I definitely go to the street car takeover events in the area and just small town cruise nights.
