My father is trying to locate the plastic cover for the 1982 seat belts. The seat belt assembly was different in '82 than the rest of the 3rd gen builds. Can anybody that has an '82 look at the plastic cover on the male end of the seat belt clip and tell me if the below part is an identical replacement part? Thanks

It looks likes the cover of the 2nd Gen seat belts, I have a set of 1980 belts and they look identical. The little tabs on the corner are very brittle. I believe they are reproduced.

The picture I posted above is listed as 1978-1981 Camaro. Being an '82 only part, I figured it had to be shared with something. If anybody can help me locate replacements, I'd appreciate it. I don't have access to the car to know exactly what the plastic looks like. I'm hoping a Caprice, Corvette, Cadillac or something shared this same part.

Scott -- I picked up a NOS set of these several years ago from an eBay seller named rohns@rohnaz.com. He has a lot of GM NOS stuff from that era. I'll see if I can find the ones I bought (they're still in a box somewhere) to get you the P/N.
