I know this car. It's very nice. On consignment by the owner.

I'd certainly hope that it's nice, being an '82 CFI with 254K that someone thinks is worth *$16,500*!

It certainly looks to be in above average condition, but I'd say the miles are going to limit it to around $7K or so in my book, and that's me being generous.

What's up with that stereo BTW? Never seen one that had an eject button, but no REV/FF buttons.

That's the dealer's number. The owner was trying to sell it for quite a bit less. I posted it on the FB ThirdGen Expo page for him, but I agree, as nice as it is, it's a $7-$8K car. The early cars just haven't seen the love yet.

I had the same radio in my '83. Push in the button to eject, push left to rewind, push right to fast forward (or maybe right/rewind, left to ff. It's been 25 years).

One of the best Thirdgens made. And a fine example with most every option. But I like all 82-85 Z28s/IROCZs. I'll be happy if the 82-84 never get the love. Will keep the prices reasonable.

BTW, that car has 25,400 miles, not 254,000 as Navy stated. I think the car is worth more than $7k-$8k though.

Your right about that. It is easily worth more than $7K-$8K even though it is a CFI car.

You guys think so and I think so, but he had it listed for $10K-ish all summer and couldn't sell it.

Looks like a typical Chicago car which was driven in weather and put away for the winter without hosing off the chassis.

I don't think it's worth $7-$7k with a CFI and all of that rust to be honest.

Hm, good point. Not sure why I was thinking 254K.
