Took some photos of my 1le/z03 today.Its nice out today so I took advantage of it.
That car is beautiful. I actually found a for sale listing for it about a year ago ( I think it was an old listing) and inquired about it. It is so clean. Really fantastic. Thanks for sharing the pics!
So I may have found some info on the final white 350/auto. With one in the GM heritage collection, one owned by our very own ev305TPI there are only two white 350's left.
One is supposed to be owned by LeonardS friend in California. Still don't have any pics or info of that car other than some basics.
Another was previously owned by someone I came across during one of my searches. This one would have been the highest mileage and most wear of the white 350's .
From the previous owner:
"I owned the car from June 2002 to 2005. I sold it because it kept failing emissions even after I rebuilt the engine to 355. I've got more pictures that I need to scan in and upload. "
So the current count is
I have 9 actual vin numbers
I have pictures of 12 cars
I also have 5 cars that I have been told about but don't have any pictures or info on other than some basic info like colors or engine combo.
Unfortunately I have not successfully located any of the black cars.
I made another attempt to reach out to a few potential owners.
LeonardS and ev305TPI - please reach out to your contacts and see if they are willing to provide some more info.
I will try again when I return after Winter. The gentleman is now 93, if he is still alive. Hopefully I can make contact and he can get his nephew to take some photos.
There is a black with red stripe zo3 1le 5sp with low miles i seen at summit racing in ohio camaro car show about 3 years ago. i seen the rpo codes should have got the vin on it the owner bought it new waiting to see it again.he said a guy from canada was trying to buy to make it into a race car hopefully that didnt happen.

Thanks for the info. Still looking for my first confirmed black car. Have a couple leads on them but nothing firm yet.

Yes, that is the car. I was never able to make contact again and he has probably passed away by now. I was able to locate his obituary and he passed in 2018.
