Good luck to the seller. Door dings, cherry interior, and why was the motor replaced at 59,000 miles? I can guarantee the paint is wore off under the bra. In my opinion, it's a $5000 car at best. If that's sells for $25,000, I'm listing mine for $35,000.

Not one word about the actual car in the description.
Also no mention of the burned up A/C compressor clutch either...
This is a complete joke imo.

$1.00 isn't a bad discount. That buys a cup of coffee at most convenience stores.
Everyone here knows this "canaro" is never selling. @ 50% of that price its not selling.
If this is the original owner, The only explanation I have is he's trying to get money for his emotional value. I do understand that, & I have that personal ilusionary feeling of value in my cars too. But I know it equates to $0.00
It reads "with one owner" makes me wonder if its a flip & still titled in the original owners name? Either way, the seller needs to do his homework.
EDIT: The OP I think is right @ $7K but even that's too strong for me. The Arizona factor is nice. would love to see under chassis picts to see if that helped over the years. More out of curiosity I suppose

I guess they replaced the original 305 with the 305.2 CUI in the listing,
$24,999 is for the special engine.
All jokes aside I do like the car minus the wood trim, bra, and ridiculous asking price.

WOW! Maybe I should go out and sell my car TODAY! These prices are ridiculous. Once again thank you Barret Jackson.

Not to hurt any feelings here to 86 owners, its just my opinion but i consider it to be the red headed step child year of third gens. Or the black sheep if you will. It was the only year it went backwards instead of forward in terms of performance through the 10 years they produced these cars. Its very rare to actually find an 86 iroc with the 3.42 axle ratio which was standard on 85s. Most of them had the 2.73 high way gears in 86. I don't know why collectors would want an 86 iroc when they can go for a better year like an 85 or a 87 and up. The only thing good thing to come out of 86 was a better and faster computer. The only money i see as collectable for the camaro for 86 is the Z28 L69 which is a rare find and if you had to settle for 190 horses id rather have it with a 5 speed manual vs a peanut cam LB9 auto. I think the owner is cashing in on the iroc name plate when its the bottom of the barrel year.

I'll tell you what bugs me the most about some of these cars with crazy prices, their presentation. I mean if I were asking 4 or 5 times what the car was worth I would detail and present it impeccably. The engine compartment would be clean and flawless. The carpets and seats would look factory fresh. The paint would shine swirl free. Then I'd take a dozen or so great pictures and post them.
Some of these cars are presented as an afterthought. Fine if you have a BIN of $5K, not fine if you truly expect crazy money.

Here is a better car for only a 1/4 the price. https://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/cto/6582871853.html
This car will be sold in a few days I'll bet.

The wood grain hurt me.. wasn’t expecting that..
The bra is also worrisome.. especially because it doesn’t look like it’s on so good

I agree it wouldn't bring a price probably over 7k at auction. The ones that do fetch 25k make the people with 5k cars think theirs are that caliber car though. I'm seeing it a lot down here. " I saw a Camaro bring blah blah" you know what I mean. They have no idea what it takes to keep one in factory condition or to restore one to it.

The ad states the car is original paint, but that driver side front fender doesn't seem to be the same shade as the door!
