Re: 92 Z28 TPI 5 speed convertible
most of the cars i find are still for sale and i talk to the seller most of the time ... if somebody post on here about a rare color or something i will pull a older add sometimes to show them the car ..

Re: 92 Z28 TPI 5 speed convertible
The web sites have no means of removing ads after the cars sell and/or the sellers never follow up to say the car is sold - of 10 cars a day I find online at least 7 have long since sold

Re: 92 Z28 TPI 5 speed convertible
i have not contacted the seller cause i have no interest in the car so it may or may not be for sale

Re: 92 Z28 TPI 5 speed convertible
This ad has been findable years and saw it years ago when I was first looking for a Vert.
it was basically the convertible version of my 87 T-Top car, but had sold long ago.. The ad may have been out there almost a decade. Still comes up when you search 87 IROC convertible for sale..

It can take time to find a car that has everything you want and you usually have to compromise something when you find a really nice one and the price isn’t unreasonable.

Re: 92 Z28 TPI 5 speed convertible
Someone would really have to know and care it’s a 1 of 5 car. People don’t specifically remember the 91-92 like they do an “IROC” or a “Grans National” or a Fox Mustang which appeals to more people.
Ive seen prices like this on lower mile cars come down. I don’t think it’s an unfair price, but also not priced for a quick sale.

Re: 92 Z28 TPI 5 speed convertible
Typically I would agree the pricing is high. I would peg it closer to higher teens. However, if you look at the condition of the car & what the car is. 1992, Z28, Heritage, 5 speed in the right color combo its a good starting point. A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay but if you have your heart set on a particular 3rdgen .....
To give you another point of reference here are two examples
1991 Automatic https://albany.craigslist.org/cto/d/...701212766.html
1991 1LE 5-speed https://newyork.craigslist.org/wch/c...701716993.html

Good grief......did you see the underside?.....it's pristine, dont think I've ever seen an underside that clean on a car with those miles
This seller has an incredible 3rd gen collection, he's sold others on ebay.

Re: 92 Z28 TPI 5 speed convertible
The underside is great.. I’ve seen a few other black Verts that looked like that underneath. (I think your GTA looks damn good underneath). I like how the black cars are gray underneath.
The right buyer would even maybe pay $25k
I’m the type that would let it sit for sale a while and offer $19k and settle on $20,500
I think the price is fine, but probably not what it will sell for is all I’m saying.
Some dealer would probably list it at $32,000 and let it sit for sale a while.
