Re: 88 MILE 1991 CAMARO Z28 1LE
My question is why do these cars keep appearing at auctions year after year nearly back to back? This car was just offered last year privately was it not? also the seller this year is a dealer right?

Sometimes all these cars do are move around between private collections while never being driven.
I think it's on consignment with the seller...

I see that. A car that keeps returning for sale is a red flag to a buyer that makes you wonder why.
For what ever reason Barrett is not promoting the car at all beyond its normal catalog.

They are promoting the 344 mile IROC however.

So this particular car was sold by the original investor in 2017 for $29,700 (he made around $12k profit). Then it was purchased again by another collector who sold it for $35k (he made around $5k profit). So like someone said, it’s very common that once a car leaves it’s original investor that several others will re-sell it until it reaches its peak. I happen to own the car now but will not be selling it, it will go to my son someday. I actually drive the car on Sunday’s and enjoy it. It now has 1,890 miles on it.

If an '87 IROC went for over $60K, shouldn't this go higher? Or do the taped letters make that big a difference?
I'd sure as heck pay more for this car than the '87 IROC.
