8th digit of VIN is an “O” for “Oh my god, it’s a 350!”

I don't see anywhere in the ad where it claims the car has a 350. It says 5.0 Ltr TPI.

DO I see over spray on the tail light trim piece or is this from lighting?
It is a nice looking car, but something smells... Were the original seats that wrinkly on the sides? Also the seat material does not look quite right to me... Maybe I look at too many Firebirds with the Pallex material...

I see, well that's good. Otherwise, it seems like a very nice, honest car. Too much money though.
I've also noticed a lot of low mileage original 86' IROC's for sale lately. Most are well optioned and have the LB9, but 86' being the transition year with only the peanut cam TPI available, they will likely bring less money than other years. Seems to be a lot of them around though.

The Black 88 5-speed I put up actually says both in the same ad, and has a “sticker” that says 5.7 TPI on the back.. The engine code is clearly “F” in the VIN and being a 5-speed it’s obvious..
Some people also have a distaste for the high mount third brake light in 1986, but I guess it’s sort of special to that year which could be unique as well..
I agree the 86s seem abundant as of late..

I think the seats look correct.. They are that velour 85-86 seat material.. It had elasticity if I recall and could wrinkle like that..
As far as overspray, good luck getting anyone to take a clear closeup picture to prove otherwise!

I was emailing them back and forth about the car....told them it was a 305, and they changed it.
