Here's a custom job that's just all kinds of good. Great color too. EBay, $12,500 starting bid.

Re: 1987 Convertible Firebird with 350
It’s cool.. My critique would be that the person who modded the car tried to make it into a 60s muscle car and remove the “80s” from it. I can’t see someone looking for 80s sportscar nostalgia being interested in this car..

I don't especially like what he did with the interior, but I think it's a nice convertible and I love that color.

Interior's kinda gross but I think it could easily be made in to something pretty cool. Change out the bumper inserts, lower it a bit, lose that leather cover for the roof and you'd be there

Interesting choice of photos. Doesn't tell you much about the car, no miles listed & an "S" engine?
Lots of money for somebodies personal choices that are likely to be unpopular & don't normally add value.
Always hard to get your money back out of something like that. But at least it wasn't a formula 350 modified
Doesn't mean its not cool to look at, but sure not worth anywhere near 12K & thats with the reserve not met.
Let the Shill bidding begin!

I like the convertible and the color. But I could never see buying something so heavily customized on eBay, unless I lived nearby and could see it in person. He doesn't even provide much information.
I actually bought my GTA on eBay sight-unseen and had it delivered. But my car is totally stock, had one prior owner, and was being sold by a small specialty dealer who bought the car at auction after it was traded in. He put probably 100 pictures online and a video, I had the CarFax, and I spoke to the dealer. It was still a little unnerving buying something like that without driving or seeing it, but it all worked out okay. After talking to the seller, I was pretty confident.

Unsurprisingly, this auction expired and was relisted today, reserve lowered to $9,500.
No idea what this car really is worth, but the owner is clueless when it comes to selling something. Few pics or details, a sure way not to sell a customized car. He's going to get tired of paying to relist that car very quickly. The truth is, like with a lot of people, his car is worth far more to him than to anyone else.

Re: 1987 Convertible Firebird with 350
1) It appears that it was originally a Base Firebird (Thus the S as the 8th digit)
2) "LT1" This is irritating because it is clearly a TPI engine, not a LT1 engine.
3) It has early 82-84 Trans Am front Fenders
4) 85-90 Trans Am Tail lights.
5) 4th Gen interior...
This really has a lot going on, good luck with the sale.
