First, let me say that if this is the wrong place to post this I am sorry. I could not find anywhere else I felt it fit.
Just picked her up on Facebook marketplace 2 weeks ago. Was posted at the exact time I realized my current 84 sport coupe restoration was not going to work out for the time I have available with 2 young children, 3 jobs, a wife and a house.
43,000 original miles. Always garage kept. Hasn't seen rain in 20+ years. One owner (before me). Only the stock radio is missing. replaced with a cassette deck from the dealer back in 84 when it was first delivered!
Working on all the missed maintenance now. Plan to leave it stock and in great shape for as long as I can!
Car was originally meant for Canadian market. Dealer in Rochester shipped it in from a dealer in Canada for the previous owner. Has lived her entire life within 4 miles (dealer it was sold at in the US was between my house and the previous owners house 4 miles away; minus her short time on a dealer lot in Canada)
Original owner and I are planning on having a sit down in the next month or so to discuss her life and more of how she got to where she is in such great shape.
Only hope I can keep her in as great of shape as the previous owner!!!

Rochester weather hasn't allowed me to get her out of the garage since I bought her(snowed last weekend and has been constant rain) so these are pics from the marketplace post. Speedo gear had to be converted by the dealer when it came into the us for sale. So it's a Miles car but with a 6 digit odometer.
Painted at some point? Side molding painted white, and front GFX grill is gray. But does appear to be original style single stage.
From what I have seen it has never been repainted. The side mouldings are actually white (whatever material they were made of) and have discolored with age(kinda yellowed). They are definently not painted over...
Took her out today, got her inspected and let her stretch her legs a bit! Couldn't be happier with this purchase! Thanks everyone for all the love and support! I love this community. First time out driving her and another 3rd gen driver honked and waived as he drove by! It took me a second to realize I wasn't in my daily (Chevy Cruze) and wave back!

Blue interior with the console clock, great interior options. Not used to seeing the six digit odometer. Really sweet car!
That center console clock means one thing (and the SPID confirms): the car came from the factory with the U63 AM-only radio which did not have a digital tuner and therefore no clock display. So this '84 Z car got the U35 quartz clock.
My mom bought a new '85 Z28 with TPI, t-tops and crank windows, a vinyl interior and the AM radio. It was optioned very similarly to this '84. Our dealer swapped out the AM-only radio with a Delco AM/FM/cass head, which had the digital tuner and clock - so our car had two clocks.
It's funny to think that as late as '84/'85 you could order a Z28 from the factory with only an AM radio...
Nice find!!! The start of the the 1LE as I see it has no A/C and no other options. I have the same car White with Briar brown interior and only 16,000 miles. Enjoy and welcome to TGO.
