What your Camaro or Firebird will get:

• an O.E. excellent condition (top and sides) freshly restored w/SEM paint 'A' pillar (part # 2022 9749) from my '87 T-Top Iroc, with;
• an Autometer 2 space gauge pod for 2 1/16" gauges (part # 12202)
• an Autometer Sport Comp 'Water Temperature' gauge (part # 3331 with a 280 degree max) and;
• an Autometer Sport Comp 'Transmission Temperature' gauge (part # 3351 with a 280 degree max).

Both gauges illuminate when the headlights are turned on and were removed a few months ago due to me having the original dash temp gauge repaired and wanting to go back to a stock look (I'm currently finishing an interior restoration - see my photo album for progress so far ).

The Water gauge works perfectly and illuminates when the headlights are turned on. The Transmission gauge, although placed in the pod by a previous owner, was never connected to the transmission only the illumination was hooked up and you can see that the connector is still wound and taped.

A quick check of jegs.com shows that the two gauges and pod, shipped to you, would be $221.96 and this price doesn't include the already loaded and ready to go 'A' Pillar (note that the weatherstripping on the rear of the pillar is clearly original, but is hidden anyway.

Please note that the pillar is from a T-Top car and won't fit on a hardtop pillar. However, the pod is held in by four easily removed push/pull pins for easy removal and installation onto a hardtop pillar.

I'm asking $75.00 shipped (within the U.S.) for the complete, ready to install unit. Additional photos available by request.

Interested...the water temp gauge works with the stock sending unit? Does it include paperwork/directions? Curious about hooking it into an old school 350 trans..

The pod was installed by a P.O. The temperature gauge was the only one hooked up and was easy to remove.* To remove it, I first removed the pillar. Then, I disconnected a ground wire and a power wire (both by the drivers side footwell).* The temp sending unit wire (the thick, black one) goes through a firewall plug then gets screwed into where the current temp. gauge is located in the engine block (driver side between the first two spark plugs).* Removal was about 10 minutes.

Regarding the Transmission gauge, the illumination had been hooked up, but the gauge was never hooked up to the transmission.* I would assume its the same installation method.
