NOS GTA/TA digital dash odometer chip - programmed

I recently hacked into the digital dash EEPROM/NVRAM - if anyone is interested, see https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/elec...o-86-88-a.html

Now I have a small handful of new old stock NCR 52801 chips I don't need anymore. I'm willing to sell each for US$ 50 plus $ 10 for shipping. Of course I will program the chip with the mileage you need.

So if your digital dash odometer shows flashing 9's or a false mileage reading because you swapped from analog to digital this might be for you.

Hard to say - to my knowledge flashing 9's are a sign of a bad chip (either wrong parity or hardware failure). But I never noticed the screen going blank after a while. I'll check tonight with a bad chip and see, if the screen goes off after a while.
How much time does it take for the screen to go blank after the 9's appear?

Tested it with a bad chip. Mine seems not to go blank, still flashing after half an hour... Then again, I don't have a complete digital dash, just that odometer board. But as there are no other I/O lines apart from VSS signal I assume your board has a second fault.

the numbers disappear after the 9's flash about 3 times on start up. power on only ill either have constant flashing 9's or nothing. Ill have to check it out maybe there is a dirty connection where the odometer board plugs in.

I could use a chip when I finish wiring in my digital dash.
