OEM Firebird AM/FM CD Stereo
I have an OEM Pontiac Delco CD stereo (model number 16145371) that I purchased a year ago to replace the Delco cassette deck in my 1990 Firebird. I have upgraded my original cassette deck with an aux plug, so I no longer need this radio. Everything works, plays CDR disks and is in excellent condition. Mounting tabs/wiring harness not included. Asking $150 shipped in lower 48.

Re: OEM Firebird AM/FM CD Stereo
Check your part number. I can't be positive but it's almost certainly from a Chevy, probably from a Lumina, Cavalier, Beretta, Caprice or Impala.
If so; then someone customized this radio with Grey buttons and Firebird *****,....( 94-97 S10 CD player buttons? ) If the back-lighting isn't red - it's not a Pontiac head unit.
Should plug right into an 88+ Thirdgen,.... Good Luck with the sale.

Back lighting is red. Original seller subject title: "GM CD Radio fits: 82-89 Pontiac Firebird, Trans Am, Bonneville, Fiero, Grand Am; Delco. Seller Refurbished. GM Part No. 16182711" I suppose it's possible that the original seller changed out the back lighting, but seems like a lot of trouble to sell to a smaller group of potential buyers.

Re: OEM Firebird AM/FM CD Stereo
There was only a few early 90's cars that had a CD player faceplate with the "PWR-VOL" in orange text. The last PN you posted comes back as a 92-94 Beretta or Corsica.

Pontiac red backlighting is built-into the faceplate and can't be changed, but Chevy faceplate were clear so by changing the actual bulbs you can make the backlighting any color you want. If any repairs had to be done ( and even if no repairs needed ) than it was probably worth the effort to make it 'Pontiac compatible' because there are simply very few early (89-94) Pontiac CD players available to go around. Better to have a custom radio that works/looks perfectly fine than to have none available at all. ( It looks better now than factory stock IMO ! )
