Not sure what yr its from but deff a third gen thinking 91-92 not sure it dosent work with my 87 plug is different

No. By the time Pontiac got anywhere close to being capable of running a CD changer, the color format would have been predominantly gray. I mean that's just aside from knowing all the 90-up Firebird radios at a glance. It's not a 90-92 or even early 4th gen Camaro because the text would be yellow. Now it could be a GM Delco deck from another GM product, but it's not something that ever came stock in a thirdgen. What it looks like just from a glance is some of the aftermarket head units that were made to look like a stock style stereo. The Pontiac logo on the Cassette slot dust cover screams aftermarket - ie: it's trying WAY to hard.

Got it... It's an Audiovox SPS.

THIRD........What size pins are in that unit? What size are the car sides?
The big ones? or the small ones?
I had to order a new plug from Crutchfield.com to hook mine up

Part of the reason it might not plug into an 87 is that you need an adapter harness like the one in the ebay photo.
