as far as i know, they dont sell reproductions.
u might try GM, but it might be discontinued..
try junkyard, u'll find a working seatbelt very easily.

not to sound like a major sob but if i wanted used seat belts id have gone to the junkyard instead of posting here about brand new ones
as we all know thirdgens had a major seat belt problem which is why mine dont work. so the chances of finding a set in the junkyard that work and will remain to work for years to come is a very slim to none chance

My friend welcome to restoring classic or near classic cars. There is no major demand for third gen parts as of yet, hence no parts available (unless you have connections, or big bux's) I have bought several near mint condition seat belts from the JY and have been pleased. Unless you can manufacture the belts or find them new (you won't) good luck. People here only offer advice that is generally known, so if you can find new, PLEASE LET US KNOW!!!!!!

i have no problem doing mods my entire suspension/ drivetrain is nothing but mods like my over the axle true dual exhaust ( sorry no pix dont have a camera )
this is the newest car iv ever owned and its starting to be a major pita when looking for parts for it. i think once i give this car to my younger sister ill just stick to my 1930 ford model a daily driver hotrod and 68 firebird daily driver.
iv owned this 86 trans am for the past 3-4 years and never cared that the interior was shot. but due to my younger sister is getting her licence soon and she likes my trans am . i figured id give it to her but i dont want her in a car that has worn out seat covers and no seat belts. so im in the middle of restoring the interior to its show room condidition and giving the car a new paint job.
the main reason i dont like used seat belts is because they are a safty feature for 1. and well i bought seat belts out of a car in a junkyard once for a car i used to own and with in a year they were complete junk and snapped when i was rearended. so id like to get new seat belts so that my younger sister doesnt have to know what its like to have to eat the dash board/steering wheel.

well after 20-25 materials get fragile, thats why i suggest 4th gen ones which are only a few years old, and bolt in. if you want brand new go to GM and pay big bucks
