Split back seats???

Ok I was wonderin if there was a yr/model that came with the back rest section split.I know the seats them selves are seperate but the section that ya flip down to give more hauling room is what I am askin about. Also if anyone has tried to slpit theirs? If so how did it work out?Personaly I think I might try this and see maybe pick up the back part at the local yard and dissect it and see whats involved.

If your referring to the back seats, then yes there was a split seat option that allowed them to be folded down individually. Many 90-92 seats came that way.

my 85 T/A has it and my brothers 85 T/A has it. I dont like them myself im going to cut my 2 little bars off. All you need is a little plate welded to the middle of your car with a bar welded to it about 6 inches long 3 inches sticking out on each side. A peice of rebar would be perfect.
