I just brought home my first third gen Camaro that will be a project car for my son and I.
My question is:
How much, if anything, is interchangeable from the Firebird interior to the Camaro? This car is pretty trashed inside, and it was smoked in heavily. Any replies will be appreciated. Saturday will be my son's first trip to the boneyard....

Basically everthing is interchangeable.Even thought they look totally diffferent the dash a center console can be swapped, but thats a conversion you'd have to do as a set to make the look complete.As for the remainder of the interior, seats,carpet,headliner,door panels,plastic trim,are a simple swap.Only concern would be something like power widow door panels(no holes) to manual window(holes for window crank) or say a model with Rr shoulder belts(88-up)Vs one with only Rr lap belts(87-down), but these are only cosmetic issues, not mechanical differences.
