GTA with digital dash problem ("that's odd!??")

I have an '87 GTA w/ digital dash. I dropped some change in the cigarette lighter port and some spark occured. Now my speedo is locked on Km/h and is not displaying correctly. Digits jump all over the place. the center display with the odometer and E/M buttons, Etc. is blank. All bulbs still light up, just no letters/numbers. Radio is now lit up, but not functioning. Also, the power door locks are inop. I am stumped... my guess would be the ECM is "scrambled". I checked all fuses and all are intact.

Any suggestions for my daily driver? ANY help would be appreciated.

Even though the fuse may look ok, you may want to replace it with a brand new fuse. I did the same thing on my 91, penny in the lighter. Mine actually blew the fuse a few times before I figured out what the problem was. The fuse could possibly be damaged even though it looks ok, so best to rule that out before looking elsewhere.

I think It's your accessory fuse that is blown. My overhead light shorted out and it took my speedometer with it.New fuse, problem fixed.
