MSD Lazer Tach

Can't pull it up on the Summit Racing site, but I'm trying to figure out if the MSD tach in the catalog MSD-4608 3 1/8" tach (March-April '09 pg. 118) will fit in the stock tach location behind the the large platic lense. My car has been at my parents house for a few years and can't remember off the top of my head if the guages are individual or one big continuous cluster. Last time I managed to get the car started I saw the tach wouldn't move anymore. So if this tach would work as a add on the stock cluster, I'm assuming I would have to replace the cable? sender? What do I need to do here guys? I would like to upgrade to a more accurate tach even if I can get the stocker to work again. The car is an '86 Z28 with LB9 700R4 with 2.73 rear. Thanks in advance.
