83 gauge upgrade

83 gauge upgrade

im still new to the site and have done a search but i could not find much info. i have a 83 camaro with the basic dual needle gauges i was wondering how hard it is to upgrade to like a 86 iroc gauge panel. is it plug and play? if this has been covered you can just post a link any help is wanted thanks

There are some sending unit issues if you swap from dummy lights to gauges--as noted in the above link.

ah yea forgot he has idiot lights... the voltage gauge will work fine, but the others will just peg, you will need a new coolant temp sender for the head and a new oil pressure sender
