Re: What is this button for?

Do you have any pics of it?

My 84 didn't have anything on the steering wheel, so it's most likely something someone added later.

Re: What is this button for?

I thought that was for defrost? I have it, it switches back and forth and has a center red lens on it which lights up when clicked. Ill get pictures after work if he doesn't before me. I know exactly what you are talking about.

I don't see it here but there is another button in its place.
This is not my car by the way.

My defrost button is below the cigarette lighter (the button does light up, but it's amber); the fog light switch is below the headlight ****. A previous owner may have used a "blank" plate to install a light/switch to indicate that an electrical device of some sort was engaged (fans, lights, security, etc.). A pic would tell us all we need to know. I doubt it'll be helpful, but there is a pic in my Car Details below.

Re: What is this button for?

All good, left side- lights on top and fog light switch on bottom, right side- cigarette lighter on top and defrost on bottom.

As I suspected, the red button is not OE.
