lock/unlock switch 92 firebird
I'm trying to figure out how easy it is to replace the lock/unlock switch (drivers side) in a 92 firebird.
seems pretty clear cut on a firebird older than mine... I can't find any info on how to replace mine.
thank ya

Re: lock/unlock switch 92 firebird
Very easy. Pop out the little "Firebird" plastic trim. Unscrew the torx bolt. Pop out the sliding orange/black lock lever. Slide the whole trim forward past the inside door handle. After you get the trim loose, unplug the switch. Then you can remove and replace the switch. It's retained in the trim by a couple of plastic tabs that you have to gently open up to remove the switch.
