Instrument cluster question & help needed
I am new so bear with me here, please.
I have an 84 base Camaro that has the dummy lights and huge gas gauge. I just got a Z instrument cluster, and am hoping that I can just unplug the old and plug in the new and have at least the speedometer, tachometer, and gas gauge work. Is this a possablity, or what do I need to do to get the new cluster to work? Hate not having tach or gauges.
Thanks ahead of time for any info.

Thanks James, even though I have the 85mph speedo gauge package, I now know it should work after changeing the sending units. Another project.

You dont have to change sending units for speedo. If you didnt have a tach you will have to run a signal wire from the dist. to cluster. A wireing diag. will show what pin # to run it to. The other gauges will need sending units and wires ran to cluster as well.
