Center console switch and connector id
This is just laying loose. I see that it is a switch and it is broken. What does it do? Are replacements available?

This 6 pin connector (pictured just in front of the shifter) was not connected to anything. Is it not used on all cars or am I missing something?

The switch is for your console compartment light. Not sure where to get a replacement.
The other connector looks like one of the radio harnesses. It appears to be the harness with the power leads.

I think the six pin connector is for the auto tranny shifter. Was this car converted?
The console compartment light switch you will have to get off eBay or somewhere.

Still pretty sure that six pin is for the auto tranny shifter. I don't remember my 5 speed cars having it on the harness, but could be different for other years. There isn't anything else there on firebirds.

Double check the SPID sheet to make sure it is a factory 5 speed. I think it should have MM5 listed for a factory 5 speed.
