Dying Seats with Vinyl and Fabric Paint
I'm making this thread to show the results of using
Duplicolor Vinyl and Fabric paint, on my 4th Gen vinyl seats to make them black. I found the best method is cleaning with soapy water with a Scotch Brite pad, then doing 3 to 4 coats with 15 minutes between coats. After the last coat wait about 15 minutes take the Scotch Bright and go over the seat with very little pressure(The reason for this is so your finish is very smooth and like factory).
This is before the Vinyl and Fabric (Note that in this picture I was missing a few plastic pieces for the seats.)
Here is a comparison between the original color and after the Duplicolor. Front Drivers side seat finish and together.
I will be posting more pictures once I finish the front passengers seat.
