i think your right. if i remember correctly my sun visors are grey. well dang just picked up a brand new black headliner for a decent price last night. guess ill have to look for some black visors.
I have the same exact car. Maui blue, gray interior, but no t-tops. The headliner would have been gray in your car. I believe classic industries sells a molded abs plastic t-top headliner in different colors so you don’t have to ever worry about fabric sagging or being destroyed by the sun beating down on it.
You could always paint it gray so it would fit more with the factory look. What’s the quality like? I’d be interested to know how well it fits when you install it. One day I’d like to get another trans am with t-tops and liked the idea of these molded in color abs headliners since the fabric ones sag and take such a beating by t the elements.
waiting for the headliner clips. my buddy got one shipped to him and i guess they folded it half so now it sags. im hoping once i get the clips glue onto the abs it should help a bit more eventhough mine wasnt folded in half. once i get it in ill post some pics.
so decided to install it without the clips cause its finally goin to my buddies shop to get stuff done.
i found my sun visors and they were actually black. so dunno if the previous owner changed just the visors or what. installed the headliner. fit is alright it sags a little but i think thats mainly cuase i didnt install my dome light (the base is broken)
sorry pics arent that great i was kinda in a hurry. the headliner did come with a bit of extra material so you can cover the speaker grilles.
