Hatch Pull Down Problems

Hey everyone! When I first purchased my 87' Formula the hatch motor was disconnected and never thought anything of it but today I plugged it back in an the motor just kept spinning not pulling the hatch down or anything. A little research told me it was most likely the gear nut sure enough it was broken in half so I bought and replaced that. After I got everything back together I shut the hatch and now I have nothing coming from the motor no noise or clicks just nothing. I'm thinking I lost power for some reason. I looked for the LID fuse in the fuse block but cannot find one for the life of me. Is the LID fuse labeled something else on 87'? I have a multimeter but no test light. I don't know what to probe with the meter if anyone can link me other posts or share some info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

The hatch switch is probably tripped. When you put it back together did you notice the switch position? The hatch motor shaft has two small ears on it and that switch lever sits between those ears. It may well be in the wrong spot. When the hatch is open the shaft will be up and that switch lever should also be pointing up. Zoom into where the pic is circled in red. Those small ears knock the switch lever I'm referring to and the switch is that black piece with the electrical connector. You'll see the small lever on the one side.
